Toyota Australia Initiates Customer Service Exercise For Hilux Rogue Roller Cover

Toyota Australia has initiated a Customer Service Exercise (CSE) for Roller Cover on a range of Toyota HiLux Rogue vehicles produced between 25th May 2020 and 11th November 2023. There are approximately 14,032 vehicles involved in the Australian market.

The involved vehicles are equipped with a power-operated roller cover which may become jammed or unable to be opened or closed. If this occurs, the Roller Cover motor may remain active, possibly causing it to overheat.

For all involved vehicles, Toyota Dealers will inspect the Roller Cover motor for previous overheating, replace the motor if required, inspect/adjust Roller Cover track width and update the ECU software.

This activity will take approximately 2.5 hours. Depending on the Dealer's work schedule, owners may be required to make the vehicle available for a longer period of time.

Toyota Australia will contact all owners of involved vehicles to provide details of this CSE campaign. Owners are asked to keep their contact details up to date with Toyota so future communications can be received.

Owners with additional questions or concerns are asked to please contact their local/preferred Toyota Dealer in the first instance or the Toyota Campaign Helpline on 1800 987 366 (Mon-Fri 8.00am-6.00pm AEST). Please quote your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
